Show your Google star rating on your own website

re:reviews is the re:praesent tool that puts your Google Business star rating on your own website. It fetches the current rating and the number of reviews from Google once a day, so visitors see the same score they would see on Google Maps. You do not paste screenshots and you do not manage anything technical at Google.
The proof is on Google, not on your website
Before someone walks into your shop or sends an inquiry, they usually check you on Google. They look at the stars and the number of reviews. Then they decide.
If that rating only lives on Google Maps, your website is missing the proof people already trust. The visitor has to leave your site to find it, and some do not come back.
The common fixes do not hold up. Someone pastes a screenshot of the rating onto the home page, and a year later it still shows last year’s number. Or you add a display from one more outside supplier, with one more account to look after.
What re:reviews does
- It takes the Place ID of your location. This is the code Google uses for your business entry, and Google offers a finder to look it up.
- It fetches your current star rating and review count from Google once a day and keeps a copy, so your pages stay fast.
- It shows the stars, the rating and the count on any page where you place it.
We keep the tool running. You do not have to set up a developer project at Google or renew anything.
How it works day to day
- We set up your location once, using its Place ID.
- The rating is placed on the pages where it helps: the home page, the contact page or a page for one location.
- From then on the figure refreshes itself every day. No designer visit, no reminder in your calendar.
When a customer leaves a new review on Google, your website follows within a day.
The settings sit in the Website section of the app. There is a switch to pause the tool. When it is off, the rating disappears from your website until you turn it on again, and nothing is deleted.
What it does not do
It shows three things: the stars, the rating and the number of reviews. It shows the figure Google has, good or bad. It does not choose which reviews count, and it does not change your rating.
It also refreshes once a day, not every minute. A review written this morning may appear in the count tomorrow.
And it does not collect reviews for you. The reviews still come from customers, on Google.
What it costs
It is one of the website tools we build ourselves, so that your site does not depend on a pile of unrelated add-ons. It is part of the re:praesent package: €300 a year or €30 a month, everything included, with no fee per user. The full list is on the pricing page.

Questions
Where does the rating come from?
Directly from Google, using the Place ID of your business location. It is the same score people see on Google Maps.
How often is it refreshed?
Once a day. The result is stored in between so your pages load quickly.
Which pages can show the stars?
Any page you choose. The home page, the contact page and a page for one location are the usual places.
Do I need a Google developer account?
No. We keep the tool and the connection to Google running for you.
Can I hide the rating for a while?
Yes. A switch pauses it, and the rating disappears from your website until you turn it on again.
