Your website in several languages, written once

re:translate is the translation tool inside re:praesent. You write your website once, AI translates it into the languages your customers read, and you can correct any line before it goes live. When you change the original, the tool marks the translations that need another look, so no language is quietly left behind.
Two websites that slowly drift apart
A clinic near a language border adds a French version of its website. Someone copies every page and translates it by hand. It looks fine on the day it goes live.
Six months later the German page lists a new treatment and new opening hours. The French page does not. Nobody decided that. It happened because there were two sets of pages and only one person who remembered both.
A customer who reads the French page now has the wrong hours. That is the real cost of a second language done by copying.
What re:translate does
The tool keeps one original and lays each other language over it. There is no second set of pages to maintain.
- You see the original text next to a field for the other language, for any page, post, header or footer.
- One button, Translate all fields, lets AI fill in every empty or outdated line on that page.
- You can still edit any line by hand. Links inside the text stay in place.
- When the original changes after a translation exists, the overview marks it as Needs updating.
- A content scan picks up new pages, posts and menus so nothing new is missed.
Our own website works this way. It is written in English, and the German, French and Dutch versions are layers managed by re:translate.
How it works day to day
- You change a sentence on the original page.
- The overview shows a count of texts that need updating in each language.
- You run the AI again on those lines, or correct them by hand.
- The count drops back to zero when every language has caught up.
You decide the pace. You choose when the AI runs, when you review, and when a page is ready.
The same screen lets you decide where the language menu appears on your website: in a corner, side by side or as a dropdown, with a live preview before you save.
Adding a language when a market needs it
The overview has an Add a language button. You can pick a regional variety, for example German for Austria, French for France or Dutch for Belgium.
Every text the tool already knows is then queued for that language. A language you no longer need can be removed from the same list.
What it does not do, and what it costs
AI translation gives you a full first version quickly. It does not know your trade’s fixed terms or the tone you use with your own customers. Read the pages that matter most, such as the home page, prices and contact, and correct what does not sound like you. The tool is built for exactly that.
Translations are included. It is part of the re:praesent package: €300 a year or €30 a month, everything included, with no fee per user. The full list is on the pricing page.
Questions
Do I have to translate every page by hand?
No. AI fills in all the lines on a page with one button, and you correct only what you want to change.
What happens when I change the original text?
The translations of that text are marked as needing an update, and a counter shows how many are open in each language.
Can I check and change what the AI wrote?
Yes. Every line sits in an editable field next to the original, and you save when you are happy with it.
Can I add another language later?
Yes. You add it from the overview, including regional varieties, and you can remove a language from the same list.
Is the app itself also available in several languages?
Yes. The re:praesent app can be used in English, German, French and Dutch.
