Your results in one sentence and four numbers

Results is the page in re:praesent that answers one question: is the website bringing in work. It gives you one sentence and four numbers: people who saw you, people who contacted you, new customers and what you earned. Below that it shows where those people came from.

The question every owner asks

The owner of a small clinic pays for a website and for some advertising. At the end of the month she wants to know one thing. Did it bring patients.

The usual reports do not answer that. They show sessions, bounce rates and charts in six colours. She closes the tab and decides by feeling.

The numbers themselves are not hard to read. The trouble is that the reports stop at the website and never reach the till.

What the page shows

At the top is a sentence in plain words. It reads like this, with your own figures filled in: in the last 30 days, so many people saw you, so many reached out, so many became customers, and you earned this much.

Under the sentence are the same four figures as numbers.

  • Saw you. Visitors to your website plus people your ads reached.
  • Contacted you. Inquiries from your forms, bookings, chat and anything you added by hand.
  • New customers. Deals you closed as a new customer.
  • Earned. The value of those deals.

Each number shows how it compares with the period before. You choose the period with four buttons: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months.

If you mark deals as paid, the page also says how much of what you earned is paid and how much is still to collect. It also tells you how quickly you usually answer a new inquiry.

Where they came from

The second half of the page is a table with that title. Each row is a source: Google, Facebook, Instagram, your website, website chat, bookings, people you added by hand.

For each source you see the same four columns: saw you, reached out, customers, earned.

This is the part owners use most. A kitchen studio might see that one source brings many visitors and few inquiries, while another brings few inquiries and most of the customers. That tells you where to spend next month’s advertising money and where to stop.

We do not tell you what the right answer is. The table shows what happened. How it works explains where the figures come from.

What it does not do

The numbers are only as complete as what you record. “Earned” counts deals you closed as a new customer with a value. If you never close deals in re:praesent, that number stays at zero.

“Saw you” adds website visitors and people your ads reached. Someone who saw an ad and then visited the website counts twice. The page says so itself, in a note under the numbers.

Ad figures appear only when your ad accounts are connected. Until then the page shows them as not connected.

It is not a full statistics tool. If you want to study single pages or visitor paths, that is a different kind of report. Results is for the owner’s question, not the specialist’s.

What it costs

It is part of re:praesent, which costs €300 a year or €30 a month. Everything is included and there is no fee per user. The pricing page has the details.

Questions

Do I have to connect anything before I see results?

Inquiries, new customers and earned work as soon as you use re:praesent. Website visitors and ad figures appear once your website and ad accounts are connected.

Why does “saw you” look so high?

It adds website visitors and people reached by ads. A person who did both is counted twice, so read it as a rough size, not an exact head count.

Can I see results for just one week?

Yes. Choose 7 days. You can also choose 30 days, 90 days or 12 months.

We sell in more than one currency. Does that work?

Yes. The page shows your main currency and lists what you also earned in other currencies below it.

Would this help your business?
